About Us

The Community Rabbi Foundation was conceived of and founded by Rabbi Bonny Grosz.  Rabbi Grosz  was ordained by The Academy of Jewish  Religion, a pluralistic seminary in New York.  She combines the depth of wisdom of traditional Judaism with innovation and compassion in her rabbinate.  Rabbi Grosz has an  integrated approach to Judaism that comes from having explored the spectrum of practiced Judaism today.  In addressing the needs of today’s world and the needs of those seeking to connect with Judaism, she feels that the community rabbi approach serves as a compliment to the existing institutions and structures.  Her past experience as educator, counselor, and Jewish mother all contribute to her skills and practice as a rabbi.

Rabbi Grosz is also available for Pastoral & Spiritual Counseling and Guidance, life cycle rituals and workshops
on a variety of topics aside from her Foundation work.
You can find information about these services at

This page is a work in progress— as are the Foundation, and Rabbi Bonny
